Welcome to my Website! My name is Neil Murray and I started breeding budgerigars at the Age of 11 in 1979... how time flies!

I first started exhibiting budgerigars in 1982 at my local bird society where I met great breeders like Bernard Kellet and Fred Taylor. I bought some birds from Fred and also benefited from his excellent advice.

In 2001 I purchased a top stud which had bloodlines from Terry Pilkinton, Phil Reaney, Don Havenhand and Jo Mannes. Since 2004 I have been working with lines from my friend Frank Mc Govern which has improved my birds in width and spot, thank you Frank.

I have since bought outcrosses from another good friend Florian Bock, this has facilitated the inclusion of directional feathering on my birds while Daniel Lutolf's birds have introduced softer feathering. In 2009 I bought outcrosses from Huxley & Marchants stud. At the start of 2011 I have introduced birds from Keith MoorHouse and Dennis Spruce many thanks to all of you.
